This is a stylish update on the classic hobnail pattern. Alternating between a smooth, austere finish and a geometrically-inspired hobnail section, this tetsubin balances contemporary influences with a classic touch.

Somehow a red finish works extraordinarily well for tetsubin, and this maple leaf pattern is a great match for the color, evocative of fall.

Small cast-iron cup, sized roughly for sake, but also suitable for serving tea, especially to groups of 5 or more. This cup has a nice, subtle texture on the outside and a smooth reflective inside enameling.

These teacups are especially well-suited to be paired with a matching tetsubin based on the same motif. Cast-iron and enameled, these teacups retain a lot of heat.

Of all the cast-iron teapots in our current collection, this one has to be my favorite.  It features a sparse leaf pattern with yellow finish. Rich in texture without overstating the basic motif. Note: the matching yellow trivet is no longer available. If you choose the trivet option, we will include a traditional black hobnail trivet.
